Chat: Chat is designed for standard conversation and faster tasks. Use it when you want a question answered, an explanation, or one of the functions that were previously part of the Le Chat experience. Work: Work is designed for more concrete jobs that require multiple steps. You describe what you want as the final result, and Work can gather information, use files, the internet, and connected tools, break the task into multiple steps, and prepare the finished result. It requests approval before sensitive actions. Documents and data: In Work mode, you can add documents, images, and spreadsheets and ask Vibe to use their content during analysis, research, or creation of a new result. Canvas: Canvas is the built-in editor where you can see and continue changing what Work created. You can edit text, data, code, or a presentation manually or with AI assistance. It also allows supported results to be exported, including tables and presentations. Coding — Code: Code is a dedicated mode for working on a real software project. It can read and modify files, run commands and tests, and prepare changes in the project. It works through the terminal, VS Code, or a remote web session connected to a GitHub project. It is useful when you want to build or substantially modify a website, application, or another software project rather than receive only a few lines of code. Other AI tools, web services, and actions: In Work mode, Vibe can be given access to supported online accounts and services used for documents, communication, projects, and other work. It can use their data during the task, and when a connected service allows actions, it can also perform certain work there. It requests user approval before sensitive changes.
